After the fellowship in Israel, the Birthright Israel Excel Fellows enter the post-fellowship stage of the program in the United States, where their network expands to include leading American businesspeople as well as other Birthright Israel Excel alumni.
I LOOK FORWARD TO TAKING WHAT I HAVE LEARNED HOME TO CONTINUE THE DISCUSSIONS STARTED IN ISRAEL WITH MY PEERS, AND HOPEFULLY HELP TO RESOLVE SOME OF THESE ISSUES THROUGH MY INVOLVEMENT IN THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN THE FUTURE.
An annual retreat for the Birthright Israel Excel Leadership Network forms the nexus of the ongoing education and relationship building available to alumni. Meetings with prominent business leaders, politicians and leadership educators generate a forum of multi-generational interaction between successful mentors who have a major impact on the world economy and the aspiring business and/or technology leaders who are graduates of Birthright Israel Excel.
The retreat encourage and enables alumni to take an active role in community leadership by providing skill workships, acadmic programming, and networking opportunities. We expect all Fellows and alumni to make attending the annual retreat a priority and to plan accordingly.

Alumni
Birthright Israel Excel invests in its participants based on their drive to succeed, leadership potential, and the expectation that each participant will engage in the Jewish community and economic collaboration with Israeli companies as they enter the workforce and build their career paths. Alumni are expected to remain engaged not with only their class of Birthright Israel Excel alumni, but also with past and future classes of alumni and with Israel. We hope that they will become the future industry leaders, guided by Jewish values and committed to support for Israel.
